What is it about human communication that makes it so hard to be understood sometimes? Is it really that easy for something said or written to be lost in translation, to have anyone glancing briefly at what you said or wrote and find nothing he can comprehend?

I write for a lot of reasons. Some less understandable than the last. There's something about putting the contents of your mind and heart on the blank screen of a word processor/blog/random web update thingy that helps me think things through a lot clearer. It helps that I type faster than I tend to think at times and it makes for a lot more clarity when I try to be introspective. It's a place I vent, a place where I can put the most naked feelings to bare to get read by the most random of internet netizens.

So why the hell is it that I'm getting criticized for pointing out the flaws in another blogger's logic when they aren't even willing to deviate from their original train of thought anyway? If you don't want it read and don't want anything said about what you write, write in a dead tree journal. There's still a lot of things you can do with that media and you won't even get pesky people reading the entries and speaking their mind about them.

Lesson learned, n00b. Don't want it read, don't post it.

It's the smartest way to operate if you never want to get reactions other than the ones you want.
