I have to admit that I've not been very faithful to the art I draw. With as much time as I take planning art pieces, I've never been consistent in finishing them. Sadly, much of the stuff I should have already posted here have either been discarded or just...hidden away. So, in the interest of sharpening my already waning skills, I've decided to post as much of my art as I can. I've gone ahead and posted one of the first pieces I made for this year, and am working on a non-paid commission I may post should I get the chance to get to a scanner before I get it to the person asking for it. Wow, how long has it been? I'd promised myself I'd start working on more art in the first few months of 2012. Sadly, like most of my plans, that got derailed fairly quickly. Thankfully I still have some stock art left over from 2011 that I hadn't posted yet, so I'll be posting some of them soon. In the meantime I'm doing some research on more medieval types of weapons and armor so I'll probably need to start sketching out some of the applications I'll have for them. I'm hoping I'll have even some drafts from this project posted soon.

I realize I don't really draw often enough these days. Well yeah, understatement. Lately though I've been giving a lot of thought to creating a series of fanart pieces on one of my newer interests: Warhammer 40K.  Specifically, the Space Marines. Okay, so there's probably tons of artwork on the web, DV-art aside, where we have the Emperor's finest. I figure I won't do the more serious art and just go for one of the fandom-based chapters.
